EDD11 was a new, streamlined version of the EDD concept and, therefore, an invitation only event.

Some stakeholder organisations that represent very large constituencies received up to thirty accreditations: the European Parliament, the United Nations, the ACP Secretariat, the Committee of the Regions, and PLATFORMA. Since the sixth edition took place in Poland, a special quota of 54 accreditations was granted to the Polish NGO Platform Zagranica Group, which has 54 members.

What about journalists?

Journalists were invited to cover this year's edition of EDD. Whilst attendance at the on-site event was not possible due to space restrictions and the new, streamlined format of the event, we encouraged all journalists to accredit themselves and report on proceedings with the help of our comprehensive online media services.
