Shifting dynamics & partnering for growth

Special Event
Tuesday, June 5, 2018
09:30 to 10:30

The meaningful negotiations to modernise the EU's relations with 79 countries in Africa, the Caribbean and the pacific (ACP) are scheduled to start during the course of the summer 2018.  Ambitions are high and the potential enormous.  After 43 years of cooperation, time has come to move towards a more modern and dynamic partnership. Building on the lessons learned from the Cotonou agreement and the values that they share, the EU and its partners are about to transform their relationship to better adapt it to today's realities.  The upcoming talks will be crucial in finding new ways to boost growth in a sustainable way and address global challenges together.

How to make the most of this partnership uniting over one hundred countries and 1.5 billion people? This special event will highlight the key issues at stake and explore how to deliver collectively.
