Project or report lab
Tuesday, June 5, 2018
09:30 to 10:45

The SDG Report 2017 shows that, despite advancements, inequalities persist worldwide and achieving gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls will require vigorous efforts from different stakeholders. In this direction, on the one hand the session will share key findings and potential solutions from different public and private actors which are currently developing researches and projects which address different dimensions of violence and discriminations against women in Europe, Latin America and Africa.

On the other, special attention will be given to the wider political context at EU and member state level and how it influences the situation of women, with a specific focus in sexual and reproductive rights. Four actors steer this lab, including a Regional Development Agency.
